17-08-2013 … In a move aimed at creating greater pool of players for the junior teams, Dempo Sports Club joined hands with St. Brittos High School Mapusa by adopting their U-14 team.

St. Brittos has been the most successful team from North Goa in the recent years. They fitted well into Dempo’s strategy of revamping their youth structure by creating larger opportunities for young
players to showcase their talent. Dempo SC will focus to develop players in the age bracket of 14 to 18 years old and induct the best talents in to their regular team.
In one of its kind event, Dempo Sports Club became the first I-League club to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with a school team from Mapusa.
According the MoU signed by the Club, the school children will receive knowledge and training about fitness within the game, sharpening of their technical skills, guidance on proper nutrition and exercise,
injury prevention seminars along with a proposal for holding football camps for young children of Mapusa. Dempo SC will be providing the entire playing and non playing equipment to the school for the season.
Speaking on the occasion chairman of dempo sports club srinivas dempo the clubs dream was to have first 11 players in the club team from goa itself and asked the students to take the game of football in a serious way along with their studies so that they could prosper in a big way in the game of football
