RATION QUOTA FOR MARCH 2016

February 02, 2016 … The State Government through the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has allotted ration quota under National Food Security Act for ration card holders and beneficiaries during the month of March, 2016.  

          The ration card holders and the beneficiaries allotted quota during the month of March, 2016, Under NFSA and  Tide Over allocation and Welfare Institution w.e.f  February 02, 2016 as under Antyodaya Anna Yojana AAY allotted 29.70 kg Rice  per card @ Rs. 3.00 per kg ; Antyodaya Anna Yojana AAY 05.30 kg Wheat per card @ Rs. 2.00 per kg ; Priority Household NFSA, 4.25 kg Rice per Beneficiary @ Rs. 3.00 per kg; Priority Household NFSA 750gms Wheat per Beneficiary @ Rs. 2.00 per kg; Tide Over APL 10.00kg Rice  per card @ Rs. 11.60per kg; Tide Over APL 02.00 Wheat per card @ Rs. 9.10 per kg; Annapurna ANP 10.00 kg Rice per card @ free of Cost ;Welfare Institution Scheme  Rice, as allotted @ Rs. 6.15 and under Priority Household, AAY and ANP  500 gms Sugar per beneficiary @ Rs. 13.50.

          All the Fair Price Shops owners are informed that the quota lifting should start with immediate effect and they should lift at least 50% of their released quota on or before February 10, 2016 and balance quota shall be lifted on or before February 19, 2016 strictly and no extension would be granted for lifting. The ration cardholders are free to take their entitlements for March 2016 along with the quota for the month of February 2016 from respective Fair Price Shops as specified above from February 1, 2016 onwards.

          The Fair Price Shops are required to display the details of stocks as well as sample quality of grains for consumer’s information and all cardholders/Consumers are requested to give their complaints, if any to the respective Jt. Mamlatdar-I or Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Junta House, Panaji.
