Government is making all efforts for the development of skill in youths and this will held redress unemployment problem stated Chief Minister Shri. Laxmikant Parsekar after laying foundation for extension project and inaugurating various development works of Government Polytechnic Curchorem. Shri. Nilesh Cabral, MLA Curchorem and Chairman, Goa Tourism Development Corporation, Shri. Sushant Naik, Chairperson, Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council, Smt. Sujata Naik, Vice Chairperson, Shri. Vivek Kamat, Director, Technical Education, Shri. Ajit Gaonkar, Principal, Government Polytechnic Curchorem and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking further Chief Minister informed that Rs.7.50 Crores will be spent for the extension project. Government is giving priority for the educational filed he said. Apart from making Goa No. 1 in all fields it should also emerge as a role model State to other States Shri. Parsekar said.
Shri. Cabral, MLA said Government is giving all required support and urged students to think about their own future. God has given us Brain and as such we should make efforts to make our dream come true he said.
Shri. Vivek Kamat said, for effective teaching and training, infrastructure is very much important.
