 Though the state government has already implemented the entry tax on goan borders Vegetable vendors from Karnataka and Maharashtra have warned the goan wholesalers at of a possible strike over the issue from Saturday morning after which goan market would find it difficult to procure essential commodities and vegetables from Maharashtra and Karnataka …

 Speaking to goanreporter transport minister sudhin dhavlikar said there was no need for people to panic in the state with the entry tax issue as the same collected money would be utilized for proper infrastructure in to the state …

 Dhavlikar said next year even the same entry tax would be leveled on the professional public vehicles entering in to the state of goa

 

Meanwhile commenting over he entry tax issue chairman of goa horticulture kiran kandolkar said that the entry tax was the right decision of the state government and would give a taught of giving concession to truck vehicles
