Goan Reporter: Guardian Angel SC Curchorem Edge Past Carmona SC 7–6 on Penalties to Reach Quarterfinals

Guardian Angel SC Curchorem came from behind to defeat Carmona Sports Club 7–6 via tiebreaker and entered the quarterfinals of the 1st Late Inacio Colaco Memorial Football Tournament, organized by Mandopa Sports Club and played at Rosary Church Ground, Navelim, on Wednesday. Both teams were locked in a 1–1 draw at full time. Stanford Fernandes gave Carmona the lead in the 9th minute, while Cyril Dias equalized for Guardian Angel in the 27th minute. In the resulting tiebreaker, Guardian Angel proved to be the better shooters. Cyril Dias of Guardian Angel SC Curchorem was awarded Man of the Match by Cladias Dias.
