The Government of Goa has amended the Goa Mediclaim Scheme where the limit is increased to Rs. 5.00 lakhs with immediate effect.
Government has amended the sub-clause (II) (a) sanction limit may be read as Rs. 5,00,000/- instead of Rs. 1,50,000/- . So also, the sub-clause (1) (a) under clause 2 has been amended – All permanent residents of Goa residing in Goa for last 15 years and figuring in the Voters list, including minor dependents, whose family income does not exceed Rs. 8,00,000/- per annum, shall be eligible for the medical facilities under Goa Mediclaim Scheme.
