The Directorate of Agriculture is organising a State level Agriculture Exhibition in Goa “Krishi Mahotsav 2023” at Sports Complex Ground Ponda from May 19 to 21, 2023 to disseminate improved technologies in Agriculture and Government Programme to the Farmers.
The Exhibition will showcase Advance Technologies , Hi-tech Inputs, Machinery and Equipments, Fertigation, Micro Irrigation, Organic farming, Post Harvest Technologies, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries, Water Pump & Pipes, Automation & Climate Control, Processing and Value Addition, Herbal and Medicinal plants, Processing & Packaging technology, Marketing & Export Services.
In addition to showcasing different technologies, the training programme and demonstrations on Integrated Pest Management, Mushroom Production Technology, Production of Jeevamrut and Natural pesticides, Branding and Marketing of Value added products, Demonstration of grafting, Micro irrigation and fertigation, Commercial vegetable growing, Millets Cultivation, Automation, Maintenance of Agriculture Machinery, Black rice cultivation and Apiary will be organized during the exhibition.
Also there will be competition on garland making of local flowers and cooking competition of Jackfruit dishes.
The Exhibition will be inaugurated by Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant at 11.00 am in the presence of Agriculture Minister Shri. Ravi Naik along with other dignitaries.
