In view of the annual swim organized by the Shiksha Niketan School, Torda, Salvador do Mundo, Betim, Bardez, Goa between Reis Magos Fort to Forest Part, Panaji on March 17, 2024 and the swimming organized by the Young Achievers Primary School and Kids Camp Play School, Alto Porvorim, Bardez Goa across River Mandovi from Diver Ferry to Ribandar on March 18, 2024 from 10.30 am to 12.00 Noon.
In this regards the captain of Ports Department has directed all the barges/boats operating in the Mandovi River from Captain of Ports Jetty, Panaji to Miramar and all the barges/boats operating in the Mandovi River from Divar Jeety to Ribandar are hereby cautioned to keep a sharp lookout, go slow and if necessary stop at safe distance so as not to cause any hindrance during the above period and strictly adhere to the on the spot instructions issued by the patrolling boasts stationed at the site.Violations of the above shall be viewed seriously.
