District Superintendent of Police (SP) , North Goa District has ordered that no person or class of persons, shall convene or collect as an assembly, shall take out any procession or stage any demonstration on the road, street or thorough fare and shall hold public meeting except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued by IPS – SP. Every such person or class of persons intending to convene or collect such assembly and take out processions/demonstrations individually, collectively or otherwise shall apply to the District Superintendent of Police for a license well in advance.
However, in no case, procession, morcha, rally, dharna etc. shall be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex at Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station as promulgated U/s 163 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) by the District Magistrate, North Goa.
The order is in force in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Porvorim and Panaji from July 21, 2025 to August 8, 2025 of the Eighth Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa.
