Members of the Self-Help Group that supplies midday meals in schools met Vijay Sardessai at his office today to raise concerns about pending payments. They have not received payments for the past 8 months. Vijay has urged the government to release the pending payments by Friday, warning that failure to do so will lead to agitation. He also accused the government of attempting to undermine Goan women entrepreneurs and stressed that there is no need to bring in outsiders, as Goa is known for providing quality food.
