Goan Reporter: Scheduled Power Shutdowns in Bicholim on July 18 and 19 for Maintenance Work

A power shutdown has been scheduled on July 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Moitem–II and Ganeshnagar DTC, Bicholim, for essential maintenance work. The affected areas include Moitem, Ganeshnagar, and surrounding localities. Similarly, on July 19, 2025, power supply will be interrupted in two phases: from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Moitem–I, Bypass DTC, TIP DTC, Kailasnagar (new and old) and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Moitem–II, affecting Parwado, Bhandarwada, Moitem, Kailasnagar, and nearby areas. Additionally, a shutdown is planned on July 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the 11 KV Lamgao feeder, impacting areas under Gaonkarwada DTC, Karapurkar DTC, Salkar DTC, Chimulwada DTC, Lamgao DTC, Vishwasnagar DTC, and the surrounding regions. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during the maintenance periods.
