Goan Reporter: LoP Yuri Alemao Seeks Nursing Training for Locals Amid Rising Patient Load

Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao voiced concern over the shortage of locally trained nurses and caretakers in light of the increasing patient burden. He urged the government to introduce basic nursing training programs for individuals aged 18 to 45 with at least a Class 8 qualification. In response, the Chief Minister informed the House that a six-month home nursing course is already available for those who have passed Class 10.
