Minister for Power Shri Sudin Dhavlikar attended the foundation laying ceremony of New shade of Hanuman temple ,Wadi Talualim. The programme also served as a platform to empower local women through skill development and self-employment.
Under Swayampurna Goa programme initiative, 33 woman of V.P wadi talualim who were successfully trained under Chief Minister Kaushalya path yojana, Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship were handed over certificates and given sewing machines under the Madhavrao Dhavlikar Charitable Trust by Minister for Power Shri Sudin Dhavlikar and Trustee Shri Mithil Dhavlikar, to make them self-employable under the ambit of Swayampurna Goa programme.
Swayampurna Mitra , Shri Sairaj Phadte, Sarpanch ,Dy. Sarpanch and other dignitaries were also present and spoke about the initiative under Swayampurna Goa.
Rotary Club of Ponda new generation members – Shri Louis Gomes, Shri Aashutosh Khandekar, Shri Pravin Naik were also felicitated for their contribution of 10 sewing machines to Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to support the propagation of Swayampurna Goa initiative.
