Panaji : January 10, 2026 ::District Superintendent of Police, North Goa District has prohibited that no person or class of persons shall convene or collect as an assembly: shall take out any procession or stage any demonstration on the road, street or thorough fare, nor shall hold public meeting except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued in this regard by District Superintendent of Police, North. Every person or class of persons intending to convene or collect such assembly and take out processions demonstrations individually, collectively or otherwise shall apply to the District Superintendent of Police, North for a license well in advance. However, in no case, procession, morcha, rally, dharna etc. shall be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex at Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station as promulgated U/s 163 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) by the District Magistrate North Goa.
This order shall come in force on January 12, 2026 till Twelfth Session of the Eight Legislative Assembly concludes
