Goan Reporter:CM EXTENDS GREETINGS TO YOUTH ON YOUTH DAY

Panaji: January 11, 2026::Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the youth of Goa on the occasion of Youth Day, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. In his message, Dr Sawant emphasized that the youth are the backbone of the nation and play a decisive role in shaping its future. He underscored that education is of paramount importance in today’s highly competitive world, as it empowers young minds with knowledge, skills, discipline, and values necessary to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society. The Chief Minister urged the youth to remain focused on education, innovation, and character-building, drawing inspiration from the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. He called upon them to channelise their energy and talent in a positive direction and actively join the efforts of the Government in nation building through responsible citizenship, community service, entrepreneurship, and participation in developmental initiatives. Reiterating the Government’s commitment to youth empowerment, the Chief Minister stated that the State Government continues to prioritize education, skill development, and employment opportunities to enable the youth to realize their full potential. He further reiterated that the Government through transparent recruitment processes such as the Staff Selection Commission and the Goa Public Service Commission, is striving to bring talented, capable, and dedicated youth into governance and administration, thereby strengthening public institutions and service delivery. The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to become agents of change and work collectively towards building a strong, progressive, and self-reliant nation
