Goan Reporter::ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP OF 1 GOA NAVAL UNIT NCC CULMINATE

Panaji: January 13, 2026:The Annual Training Camp (ATC) of 1 Goa Naval Unit NCC culminated recently marking the successful conclusion of an intensive training schedule focused on discipline, leadership, adventures and social responsibility. As part of the camp’s outdoor and community- oriented activities, a trek to Naibag village up to the banks of river Terekhol was undertaken. During the trek, cadets carried out a cleanliness drive along the river  bank, sensitizing them towards environmental protection and community service. To mark the culmination of the camp, a campfire evening was also organised  fostering,  camaraderie, reflection and team spirit among the cadets after days of rigorous training. Earlier, a cultural evening was organised in which cadets showcased their talents though music, dance and group performances, reflecting unity in diversity and boosting confidence and creativity. During the camp, cadets underwent structured training in drill, physical fitness, naval orientation and leadership, aimed at instilling discipline and a spirit of service in line with NCC ethos. In the competitive events conducted during the camp, Smt CTN Higher Secondary School was adjudged the Best Institution in the Senior Category, while KV Bambolim and Vidya Vikas Academy were declared Join Winners in the  Junior Category. The camp was conducted with the dedicated efforts of Associate NCC Officers, Permanent Instruction staff and civilian staff, and concluded successfully under the NCC motto of “Unity and Discipline
