Panaji: March 02, 2026::Department of Finance (Revenue and Control) has notified that  on account of polling day and counting of votes for Bye Election of  of the Ward No. I of Village Panchayat Chandel- Hasapur and  Ward No. IV of Village Panchayat Mandrem in Pernem Taluka. Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Piligao and  Ward No. III of Village Panchayat Latambarcem in Bicholim Taluka.  Ward No. I of Village Panchayat Pilerne Marna, Ward No, VI of Village Panchayat Sirsaim, Ward No. II of Village Panchayat Salvador Do Mundo and Ward No. I of Village Panchayat Candolim in Bardez Taluka.

Ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Aquem Baixo in Salcete Taluka.  Ward No. I of Village Panchayat Borim, Ward No. III of Village Panchayat Veling- Priol-Cuncoliem and  Ward No. III of Village Panchayat Bhoma Adcolna in Ponda Taluka. Ward No. VIII of Village Panchayat Balli Adnem  in Quepem Taluka and Ward No. VIII of Village Panchayat Loliem Polem in Canacona Taluka  no liquor shall be transported from one place to another during the period from March 07, 08 and 09, 2026 within these  areas.

Three quart bottles of Indian made foreign liquor or foreign liquor other than beer and six bottles of beer of 650ml for any person including his family and three quart bottles of country liquor for any person including his family will be the maximum quantity of liquor which can be possessed by any person within above area.
