Goa successfully onboards the Central CRS Portal for birth and death registration. The inaugural function was held at Goa Medical College Complex in the gracious presence of the Chief Secretary, Dr.V. Candovllo, IAS.
The State of Goa has successfully on boarded the Central CRS Portal of the Office of the Registrar General of India, Ministry of Homes Affairs, Govt. of India, for Birth and Death Registration with effect from July 01, 2026.
The Chief Secretary handed over the Birth Certificate generated through the Central CRS Portal to the parent of the new born baby born and appreciated the time-bound efforts of the RBD Team from the Planning and Statistics Department for successful implementation of the CRS portal.
Certificate of Appreciation were also presented to the RBD Team for their dedication, commitment and exemplary efforts in successfully completing the migration to the Central CRS Portal in the State of Goa.
