The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be organizing the road races on August 15, 2026 from Old Secretariat, Panaji, Inox Panaji, Kala Academy, Panaji, Science Centre and back to Old Secretariat.
The road races will be organized in four categories: the 1st category will be of boys and girls above 14 years and below 16 years (born between 15/08/2012 to 16/08/2010), the race will start from Old Secretariat, Panaji to Kala Academy Goa and back which will be of 3.5 km.
The 2nd category will be of boys and girls above 16 years and below 19 years (born between 15/08/2010 to 16/08/2007), the race will start from Old Secretariat, Panaji to Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Campal and back which will be of 5 km.
The 3rd category will be of men and women above 19 years and below 60 years (born between 15/08/2007 to 16/08/1966), the race will start from Old Secretariat, Panaji to Goa Science Centre and Planetarium and back which will be of 8 km. and the last category will consist of men and women above 60 years (born on or before 15/08/1966), the race will start from Old Secretariat, Panaji to Ferry Point, Panaji and back which will be of 1 km.
Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has requested to depute students having sports participation background along with Physical Education Teacher to participate in the event. The participants should report at the venue i.e. Old Secretariat, Panaji at 6.30 a.m on August 15, 2026 to collect the chest number and T-shirt.

The last date for submission of entry is August 10, 2026.it may please be noted that students those who are participating in road race should come along with sports kit.
