The Government of India has invited two Tribal Representatives one male and one female from any of the Schedule Tribes members from backward Tribal Communities preferably from below poverty line (BPL) in the State to witness the Republic Day Parade and Celebration, 2027 at New Delhi.
The Scheduled Tribe person of Goa State whose age is not over sixty years and interested to witness Republic Day Parade, 2027 at New Delhi may submit their nomination in the Profoma given below to the Director, Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Shrama Shakti Bhavan, 5th Floor, Patto, Panaji, Goa latest by October 31, 2026.
Only two person belonging to ST communities i.e. one male and one female will be selected to witness Republic Day Parade and Celebrations, 2027 at New Delhi. The selected person has to represent themselves in the Traditional Attires and is required to stay in Delhi from January 22, 2027 to February 02, 2027.
The Expenditure on travel by Airport/Railway from Goa to Delhi and back as well as food accommodation will be borne by State Government.
