30/12/2015 … Drishti Lifeguards in the state on Tuesday today began their indefinite strike in demand for the regularization of their services.
it may be noted that the lifeguard services are being provided across all the 105 kilometre-long beach stretches in the state along with in addition to the water bodies like the Dudhsagar waterfall.
Speaking to media reporters leader of All India Trade Union Congress Christopher Fonseca said that most all the lifeguards had begun the strike which was an indefinite one in support of their demands
