Goan Reporter: Colva Sewage Pumping Station Failure Leads to Contamination; Locals Raise Concern

The failure of a sewage pumping station in Colva has resulted in sewage water being released into a nearby field. Villagers and the local biodiversity committee have raised serious concerns over the lack of a proper sewage management system in the area. Officials from the sewage corporation, during an inspection conducted along with the local panchayat, assured that the sewage water would be pumped out and the pumping system restored to working condition.
