59

Following the collapse of the Ravanfond Konkan Railway bridge’s retaining wall, traffic has been diverted through Davorlim-Dicarpalim village, causing major disruptions for locals. Incomplete underground electricity cabling work has left the roads vulnerable. With ongoing heavy rains, vehicles are frequently getting stuck, especially near the Davorlim Railway Gate, worsening traffic jams. Ex-Sarpanch and current panch Herculano Niasso has called for urgent repairs to the Ravanfond Bridge and the construction of a new bridge at the Davorlim-Dicarpalim railway gate.
