Goan Reporter: India’s Toughest Off-Road Event, RFC 2025, Begins in Goa

The 11th edition of the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) India, the country’s toughest off-road motorsport event, began in Goa with 77 teams from 11 states. Organized by Cougar Motorsport, this year’s edition features new ‘4X4 Modified’ and ‘4X4 Stock’ categories alongside the existing ‘4X4 Extreme’. Goa hosts 9 local teams, while Meghalaya marks its debut. Women participants will compete across all three categories. The event runs till August 3, with the top Indian driver from the ‘Extreme’ category earning a spot in the RFC Global Finale in Malaysia.
