Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao alleged a ₹4 crore scam involving a solar hybrid ferry that was purchased but has remained unused for three years. He questioned the rationale behind the purchase. In response, Inland Waterways Minister Subhash Phal Dessai admitted the boat has operational issues and said efforts to sell it have failed due to lack of buyers.
