Department of Captain of Ports in view of the field sampling in the coastal waters of Goa and as per request received from the Scientist, Biological Oceanography Division, CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, directions are issued to all the barges/ boats operating in the Mandovi River on February 18, 2025 and February 28, 2025 at the following locations Latitude 15028’18.444” Longitude 73045’14.616” Depth 7m, Latitude 150 28’ 5.7”Longitude 73043’ 56 856” Depth 15m, Latitude 150 27’ 52 956”Longitude 730 42’39. 096” Depth 20 m, Latitude 150 27’ 14.76”, Longitude 730 38’ 45 852” Depth 28m and Latitude15026’23.82”Longitude 730 33’ 34.812”Depth 40m.
All the above mentioned Vessels are hereby cautioned to keep a sharp lookout, go slow and if necessary stop at safe distance so as not to cause any hindrance during the above period and strictly adhere to the spot instructions issued by the patrolling boats stationed at the site.
Violations of the above shall be viewed seriously.
