Goan Reporter News: Date extended for Foodgrains distribution

Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed that due to administrative reason the Fair Price Shops dealers could not issue the entitled quota of foodgrains to the beneficiaries from October 1, 2023. Therefore, now in order to compensate the subject period, the Government has decided to extend the period of distribution cycle of foodgrains upto October 25, 2023 to enable the beneficiaries to collect their entitled foodgrains quota of October 2023.
