Directorate of Art & Culture (DOA), in association with West Zone cultural Centre, Udaipur, will organise annual National Folk Festival “Lokotsav 2024” from January 26 to February 04, 2024, at Darya Sangam, Kala Academy, Campal, Panaji Goa.

The applications are invited by the department from interested Goan crafts persons having the handicraft artisans card/licence and who are producing the handicraft, handlooms, traditional Jewellery etc. for putting up their stalls for the Lokotsav festival 2024.

Applications are also invited from Goan Individuals who are having food licences for putting up the Packed /serving food items such as Traditional Goan/Indian Recipes, Goan Traditional Snacks etc. during the festival.

The stalls charges will be applicable to all the stalls. The stalls of handicrafts and packed food will be on sharing basis (i.e. shared by 2 persons) and the charges will be shared accordingly. The same have to be paid at the time of allotment of stalls by way of debit card or UPI only. The application forms charges will be @ Rs.10/- . It is mandatory to carry Artisan Card issued by competent authority and photo Identity proof (EPIC/Election Card) to avail the application form for the Handicraft stall.

Limited numbers of applications forms shall be available at the Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto Panaji from Friday January 12 till Saturday January 13, 2024 on “First Come First Serve” basis from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. The duly filled forms shall have to be submitted to the department strictly on or before Wednesday January 17, 2024. Late applications shall not be entertained. These application forms are only for Goan handicraft artisans, packed stall/serving food vendors stalls. Only one form will be issued to each vendor against valid artisan card.
