The Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC) is implementing the Interest Free Education Loan (IFEL) scheme since the year 2005. The Scheme for the year 2023-24 was opened on November 27, 2023 and the last date for submission of fresh and renewal forms was February 29, 2024. Due to model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections in force the date of submission of forms could not be extended. Many students have approached the Corporation as they could not submit the forms in time.
Now, since the model code of conduct has been lifted the Goa Education Development Corporation has decided to extend the scheme till July 09, 2024.
Interested students may apply for the IFEL loan (Fresh and Renewal) by downloading the forms from the GEDC website www.gedc-goa.org and submit the same to the Corporation along with the relevant documents on or before July 09, 2024.
