South Goa Giants Nuvem Veterans emerged champions of the 10th Fatorda Veterans All Goa Football Tournament 2025, defeating Calangute Veterans 4-3 via tiebreaker in the final at Don Bosco Oratory Ground, Fatorda, on Saturday. Wilson Fernandes opened the scoring for Nuvem Veterans before Robert Fernandes netted the equalizer for Calangute Veterans. In the tiebreaker, Nuvem Veterans proved superior to lift the trophy. The winners received ₹45,000 and a trophy, while the runners-up were awarded ₹35,000 and a trophy. Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai was the chief guest, joined by Rev. Fr. Rallin D’Souza, Rev. Fr. Kenley D’Cruz, Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira, Carry Fernandes, ex-India international Savio Madeira, singer Mark Revelon, Fr. Benson, and Fatorda Veterans players. Robert Fernandes of Calangute Veterans was named Man of the Finals, while Wilson Fernandes (Nuvem) was the first scorer. Rosario Dias (Nuvem) was Best Defender, Jameson Abel (Nuvem) Best Half, Eaddy Fernandes (Lavina) Highest Scorer of the Tournament, Seby Mendes (Calangute) Best Goalkeeper, and Siolim Veterans Best Disciplined Team. Cyril Dias compered the function, and Concy Miranda proposed the vote of thanks.
