Goan Reporter News: Temporarily Diversion of Heavy Goods Vehicles Due to NH-66 Elevated Corridor Construction

The District Magistrate North Goa has temporarily prohibited movement of Heavy Goods Vehicles entering Goa and shall be diverted at Patradevi to proceed via Banda-Dodamarg-Bicholim-Sanquelim for onward journey till the completion of the construction of National Highway-66 Elevated Corridor Project.

All Heavy Goods Vehicles proceeding towards Talukas of the Bicholim, Sattari, Tiswadi and South Goa District shall be diverted at Banda to proceed via Dodamarg- Bicholim throughout the day and night.

The Heavy vehicles desiring to proceed to Pernem and Bardez Taluka shall stop and park on the side of the road from Patradevi to Insuli Check Post from 6:00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and shall enter Goa via Patradevi Check Post between 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m.
