Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has informed that Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India has invited for applications for nominations for the “Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award for the year 2025″. The Award is awarded in recognition of achievements of persons associated in the field of Adventure. One Award each will be conferred for adventure activities on land adventure, at water (Sea) and air adventure. In addition, a provision has also been made for conferring one award for ‘Life Time Achievement” in the field of adventure. The Scheme containing rules and regulations along with applications in the prescribed forms is available on the website of the Directorate of Sports Affairs www.dsya.goa.gov.in. Interested candidates may upload their application through the portal (https://awards.gov.in) up to August 20, 2026 after obtaining recommendation from Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Campal, Panaji.
