Panaji: February 4, 2026:The Public Works Department (NH), Ponda-Goa has notified the complete closure of the Borim Bridge on February 8th, 2026 from 8pm (Sunday) to 8.00am (Monday) to carry out PMB (Polymer Modified Bituminous) road work & to facilitate hindrance free and speedy completion of the balance repair/rehabilitation work. During the closure of bridge, traffic moving in both directions between Ponda and Margao will be diverted onto alternative routes as determined in coordination with the Traffic Police. Prominent sign boards indicating diversion routes, no parking boards etc will be displayed at strategic locations.
