District Magistrate, South Goa district, under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has prohibited aerial photography, aerial videography, and the flying or operation of any Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)/drones in any form, within a radius of 02 (two) kilometers of Dabolim International Airport and along the road stretch from INS Hansa to Zuari Bridge, during the period December 27, 2025 and December 28, 2025, on account of visit of the President of India to Goa.
This Order shall come into force and remain in force during the time periods 04:00 pm to 07:30 pm on December 27, 2025 and 05:50 am to 10:00 am & 12:35 pm to 04:00 pm on December 28, 2025.
The Order will not be applicable to Police personnel and other Government officials/agencies using drones purely in connection with their official duties, subject to such police personnel and Government officials shall be in their prescribed service uniform, wherever applicable, and shall carry valid identity cards and written authorization issued by the competent authority permitting the use of drones for official purposes, The exemption shall be applicable only while such personnel are on official duty and strictly for official purposes during the period of enforcement of this Order. Any breach of this order would invite action under section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and other applicable laws.
