The Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW) proposes to felicitate 14 outstanding Senior Citizens above the age group of 70 on the occasion of “International Day for the Senior Citizen” on October 01, 2026 at the State Level function by presenting a momento, a shawl, a certificate, a shrifal (Coconut) and cash Award of Rs.5000/-. One Senior Citizen from smaller Taluka and Two Senior Citizens from bigger Taluka will be selected for felicitation.
The applications forms are available at the counter of the Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji and District Welfare Office, Margao. Interested may apply in the prescribed application form with their Bio-data along with the testimonials/social work done for the last 3 years (in hard copy and soft copy i.e. CD/Pen Drive), two passport size photo copy, 15 years residence certificate to Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji and District Welfare Office, Margao.
The last date for accepting the application form is July 20, 2026 at 03:00 p.m.
