Goan Reporter:MIGRATION TO NEW SMART PDS BASED RATION CARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RCMS)

Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed  the general public that online ration card  services previously accessible through the NFSA portal (https://nfsa.gov.in) has been discontinued following the migration to the new SMART-PDS based Ration Card Management System (RCMS) module.

Citizens are requested to avail all Ration Card-related services throug the newly launched portal at  https://ga.smartpds.nic.in.   The Citizens can avail ration card related services through the portal i.e. new ration card, separate ration card, deletion of ration card, surrender of ration card, transfer of ration card, add member, delete member, change of scheme and change of head of family.

Henceforth, the ration card related applications will be accepted only through online mode. Senior citizens who are unable to submit applications on their own can seek assistance from officials stationed at the Civil Supplies Taluka offices.
