Goan Reporter:::NOMINATION INVITED FROM ST COMMUNITY TO WITNESS R-DAY PARADE

Panjim: December 09, 2025::The Government of India has invited two Representatives, one male and one female from any of the Schedule Tribes members from backward Tribal Communities preferably from BPL in the State to witness the Republic Day Parade and Celebration, 2026 at New Delhi. The Scheduled Tribe person of Goa State whose age is not over sixty years and is interested to witness Republic Day Parade, 2026 at New Delhi may submit their nomination with the following details- Name of the Tribal Applicant, Date of Birth/Age, Father’s name, mothers Name, Husband’s/Wife’s Name, Full Residential Address, Contact No., Tribes to which he/she belongs (caste certificate to be enclosed) and family Annual Income from all sources. Application is to be submitted to the Director, Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Shrama Shakti Bhavan, 5th floor, Patto, Panaji, Goa latest by December 12, 2025. The selected person has to represent themselves in the Traditional Attire and is required to stay in Delhi from January 22, 2026 to February 02, 2026. The Expenditure on travel by Airport/ Railway from Goa to Delhi and back as well as food accommodation will be borne by the State Government.
