In order to strengthen healthcare facilities in Northern region of Goa, the Government has declared newly established Hospital Facility at Tuem as linked facility to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim. The facility shall henceforth be called ‘Government Hospital and Research Centre, Tuem (GMC link).
The Out Patient Depatment (OPD) services at this new facility shall commence with effect from February 02, 2026 with the following OPD services by the Doctors of Goa Medical College and Directorate of Health Services.
For Medicine, Dr. Sagar S, for Surgery Dr. Varun Shetty and for Orthopedic, Dr. Saiel Korjuenkar will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For Gynecology, Dr. Rukma Prabhu will be available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Dr. Rupma Salgaonkar will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Dentist, Dr. Manasvi Alve, Pediatrician, Dr. Sonali Kute and Physiotherapist, Ms. Nikita Satelkar will be available daily.
Ophthalmologist, Dr. Ashwin Dsouza will be available on Saturday. Ayush, Dr. Ajit Matkar will be available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Psychiatrist, Dr. Yogiraj Anand and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Dr. Sainath Pednekar will be available on Monday and Friday. Radiologist, Dr. Mohini Sardesai will be available on Wednesday. Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy will be handled by Dr. Yasmeen Nadaf on Tuesday.
