Panaji, December 11, 2025::The Directorate of Health Services has informed that Pulse Polio Immunization Programme will be held on December 14, 2025 from 8 am to 5 pm. Oral polio vaccine (OPV) will be administered to children below 5 years at designated booths across Goa. All parents are requested to bring their children below 5 years of age to the designated booths in their respective locality for vaccination. A total of 665 fixed polio booths will be there, of which 513 polio booths will be in fixed places like in hospitals, primary health and centers and Government schools, 113 are mobile booths which will travel and be stationed at high risk areas. There will be 39 transits polio booths at bus stops and railways stations etc. The immunization program will be monitored by 219 health workers.
