Panaji: February 11, 2026:The Directorate of Social Welfare invites participation in a Reel Making Competition to spread awareness against drug abuse and promote healthy positive life choices under National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), a central sector scheme formulated and implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The competition will be held in two categories i.e. Students Category and General Public Category. Theme for the Competition is ‘Say No to Drugs’ (Awareness, Prevention and Positive life choices). The reel should be of minimum 60 seconds and maximum 90 seconds duration. The reel must be collaborated on Instagram wi**@***********re.goa,@yuva.panaji. NO explicit, offensive, violent, or inappropriate content is allowed. The reel must be original. Any derivative or copied content will be disqualified. Reels maybe in English, Hindi, Konkani or Marathi. Subtitles are encouraged. 50% Creativity and 50% Content and Message Clarity will be the judging criteria. Participants may note that Likes, views or reach will not be considered. The reel must not promote or glorify drugs in any form. Last date to upload the reel is February 08, 2026. The organizers reserve the rights to use selected reels for awareness purposes. The judge’s decision will be final and binding. Verification of relevant documents to ascertain the categories will be done for shortlisted entries. Prizes for each category will be 1st Prize – Rs. 10,000 + Certificate + Trophy, 2nd Prize – Rs. 8,000 + Certificate + Trophy and 3rd Prize – Rs. 6,000 + Certificate + Trophy. There will be also 5 Consolation Prizes for each category of Rs.4, 000; also Certificates of Participation will be given for selected entries.
