The Department of Fisheries has initiated the pilot project of harvesting Asian Sea bass (Chonak) at Estuarine Fish Farm, Ela Dhauji, Old Goa. The fish which will be sold at a rate of Rs. 500/kg will be available for sale on October 27, 2026 from 2:30 pm onwards at Estuarine Fish Farm, Ela Dhauji, Old Goa on first cum first serve basis till the stock for the day lasts .
