Panaji, April 9, 2026:: The Commander, Executive Officer for Commanding Officer, INS Hansa, Dabolim-Goa has informed that the small arms firing at Cavelossim range is planned on April 10, 2026 and April 28, 2026 and there is no danger to civilian population and property in the vicinity of the range. Further, it is informed that all small arms weapons fired by the unit will land on target area which is well within the Cavelossim range.
The residents are advised not to be alarmed by sound of firing, residents are prohibited from proceeding to the Beach front adjoining the Cavelossim Range as it falls in danger area and the Fishing boats/recreation boats are prohibited in the area 2 KM seaward of the Cavelossim Range.
