The Office of the Collector and District Election Officer, South Goa will be conducting a Special Drive to ensure that every eligible elector is added and no ineligible entry remains in the Electoral Roll. On the directions of the Election Commission of India, the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of South Goa District have been directed to facilitate a Special Drive for re-verification of entries deleted during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and for enrolment of new, young and first-time voters.
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will undertake house-to-house re- verification of deleted entries pertaining to their respective polling stations. BLOs will also assist eligible citizens who are yet to be enrolled in the electoral roll.
In addition, Special Camps are being conducted at designated locations across the Assembly Constituencies of South Goa District from October 7 to 9, 2026. Citizens may visit these camps to seek assistance regarding electoral roll entries, and complete the enrolment process, wherever applicable.
The special camps for 20-Priol Assembly Constituency will be held at village panchayats of Veling-Priol-Cuncoliem, Betqui-Candola and Volvoi. For 21-Ponda constituency at village panchayat of Curti, Khandepar, Ponda Municipality ans Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda.
22-Siroda constituency at village panchayats of Siroda, Bethoda and Panchvadi. For 23 –Marcaim constituency at village panchayats of Kavlem, Cundaim and Marcaim. At 24 –Mormugao constituency at Industrial Training Institute, Bogda, Mormugao, Vasco and Ramnath Naik Memorial Government Higher Secondary School, Baina, Vasco Da-Gama.
For 25-Vasco Da Gama constituency at St Andrew’s High School Vasco, St Joseph School and Govt. High School Vasco. For 26-Dabolim constituency at Shree Vishwanath Arlekar (Dada Arlekar) Memorial Higher Secondary School, New Vaddem, Vasco-da-Gama, Village Panchayats of Chicalim and Bogmalo’
For 27 –Cortalim constituency at Office of the Joint Mamlatdar-II of Mormugao Taluka, Ravindra Bhavan, Baina. For 28- Nuvem constituency at Poling station NO. 24 Integrated Child Development Nuvem. For 29-Curtorim constituency at village panchayats of Raia, Camurlim and Curtorim.
For 30-Fatorda constituency at Office of the Mamlatdar of Salcete, Matanhy Saldhana Administrative Complex, PWD WD 6, Fatorda and ITI, Borda. For 31-Margao constituency at Office of Jt. MamlatdarII, Mathany Saldanha Complex, Margao, Margao Muncipal Council, Margao and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, North Wing , New Building, Calconda, Margao.
For 32-Benaulim constituency at village panchayats of Colva, Seraulim and Benaulim. For 33-Navelim constituency at village panchayats of Davorlim, Rumdamol and Navelim. For 34-Cuncolim constituency at Cuncolim Municipal Hall, Cuncolim and village panchayats of Chandor-Cavorim and Ambaulim. For For 35-Velim constituency at village panchayats of Velim, Assolna, Chinchinim and Sao Jose De Areal.
All eligible citizens, particularly new, young and first-time voters and persons whose names have been left out of the Electoral Roll are requested to make use of these Special Camps and approach the concerned BLOs/ officials for assistance.
The District Election Officer, South Goa, appealed to all eligible citizens’ to actively participate in the Special Drive and cooperate with the BLOs during the house-to-house verification process.
