To facilitate erection of Foot Overbridge safely near Holy Shrine, Bambolim (NH-66) section between Bambolim Military Camp Ground and Holy Cross Shrine, Bambolim, the carriageway will be closed on October 25, 2026 from 1.00 a.m. to 6.00 am.
The Diversion route for Panjim to Agacaim for light motor vehicles will be from Merces circle to Pilar junction (via Old Goa road), and from Merces circle to Goa Velha (via Military camp, Merces); and for heavy commercial vehicles diversion will be from Merces Circle to Margao (via Old Goa-Ponda).
The Diversion route for Agacaim to Panaji for light motor vehicles will be from Goa Velha junction to Bambolim (via Siridao road – Grand Hyatt), and from Agacaim junction to Panaji (Via Pillar, Old Goa); and for heavy commercial vehicles diversion will be from Margao (via Ponda), and from Verna junction (Loutolim via Lotulim – Ponda).
Emergency vehicles (Ambulances, Fire Services etc.) will not be affected by the diversion and will be allowed from the original route of NH-66 and service road
