Panaji: November 10, 2017The Governor of Goa Dr. Smt. Mridula Sinha was honoured with the late Udayraj Singh Memory Award at a function held at Patna, Bihar. The award is being presented in the memory of Late Udayraj Singh the former editor of “Nayee Dhara” a 68 years old publication.
The Governor of Bihar Shri Satpal Malik was also present on the occasion .
Speaking on the occasion Shri Malik said, liberty, equality and brotherhood are the ideals of our Constitution, our literature is centric on this ideals. The literature of Dr. Smt. Mridula Sinha enriches the Indian culture, he said.
Smt. Mridula Sinha spoke on the theme, “ Women’s contribution in folk literature”.
Earlier the son of Late Udayraj Singh welcomed the dignitaries. The editor of Nayee Dhara Shri Shivnarayan Singh compered the function.
