A power shutdown has been arranged on April 26, 2024 from 09.30 am to 02.30 pm on part of 11KV Salvador do Mundo feeder, Porvorim to carry out urgent maintenance works of distribution of transformer centre. The affected areas are Donwaddo, Quitla, Umbra, Charmanas, Salvador do Mundo church, Ecoxim and surrounding areas, as informed by Department of Information and Publicity.

District Election Officer and Returning Officer of North Goa Parliamentary Constituency has notified the schedule for voting by voters on election duty in the categories of Polling Parties, Officials on Election Duty, Sector Magistrates, Flying Squad, ARO, AERO, and other election related staff like private persons and Non- Government staff engaged in election work on the day of poll (other than Polling Parties) and Police Personnel, Goa IRB and Home Guards on election duty, at the Facilitation Centres as follows:-
On April 30, 2024, May 02, 2024 and May 03, 2024 at Facilitation Centre Dempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar Panaji-Goa for Polling Parties.
On May 03, 2024, May 04, 2024 and May 05, 2024 at Institute of Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji, First Floor, Small Hall (B) for Officials on Election Duty, Sector Magistrates, Flying Squad, ARO, AERO and other election related staff engaged in election work on the day of poll (other than Polling Parties).
On May 03, 2024, May 04, 2024 and May 05, 2024 at Institute of Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji, First Floor, Large Hall (A) for Police Personnel, Goa IRB and Home Guards.
The time of voting is 9.00 am to 5.00 pm,
