Speaking over the issue on a day when the country paid respect to the father of the nation mahatma gandhi on his 144th birth anniversary chief minister Manohar Parrikar denied commenting anything over the issue stating that the statements made by the concerned police officers were of her own and one had to ask the same to the concerned police officer and not to him

South goa mp Francisco sardinha said that prostitution should be banned and such statements things could be bad for the society and therefore felt that chief minister should have reprimand the police officer for making such statements

Cooperation minister and mgp president Deepak dhavlikar said that his mgp party was not ready to accept such statements as such things should not be in goa and also should not come as goa

St andre mla Vishnu surya wagh said that such statements had upset every goan and therefore he had written a letter to dig with certain fears in his mind

Meanwhile cumbarjua mla pandurang madkaikar said that he was unaware as what type of an idea the senior police officer had in her mind as in a state like goa such things could not be tolerated in the state
