Panaji : May 16, 2025 :: Collector and District Magistrate (South Goa) has notified the following temporary road diversion , One Way Diversion, No Parking and traffic arrangements with effect from May 17, 2025 to May 19, 2025, due to ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’ being held at GEC Ground, Farmagudi
The stretch of road from PES Circle towards GEC Ground/ Function place -towards Veling, Mardol will be one way for vehicular traffic. No vehicles will be allowed to ply from Veling side towards GEC Farmagudi, except local residents residing along the route.
There will be No Parking for all types vehicles along NH-748 from Borim Circle towards GEC Farmagudi via Dhavli Bypass. There will be No Parking for all types vehicles from NH-748 from Banastarim Bridge towards PES Circle – Farmagudi. There will be No Parking for all types vehicles from PES Circle Famagudi towards GEC Main gate-Function place.
There will be restriction on movement of heavy vehicles from 06:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m and from 7.00 p.m Hrs to 11.00 p.m from Veling Mardol towards GEC Farmagudi function place (internal road), from Borim Tolnak towards Ponda side (holding area will be missing link/SH-5 from Tonaka towards Raia), from Baithakhol towards Dhavli and Ponda side (holding area will be Baithakhol – Amigos road), from Banastarim towards GEC Ponda side (NH-748) (holding area will be Banastarim and from BCP Pollem towards Margao – Ponda (holding area Dapot Mahem). This notification is valid till May 21, 2025.
