Panaji : October 28, 2016 … The Government through the Department Art and Culture has announced YuvaSrujan Puraskar’ (Navasarjan –Chetna Puraskar) 2016-17. This year total eight youth personalities are selected for the said award. The awardees will be honored with a memento, certificate of appreciation and a financial purse to the extent of Rs. 25,000/.
The ‘YuvaSrujan Puraskar’ (Navasarjan –Chetna Puraskar) is one of the schemes of the department under which the young talents from Goa upto the age of 45 years who have excelled and given extraordinary contribution in their respective field of Art & Culture are honored by the government.
Under the said scheme Goan youths who have contributed in the field of Music/ Dance, Drama / Tiatr, Folk Art, Creative Photography/ Painting, Craft, Sculpture, Bhajan/Kirtan, Literature, Film are felicitated with this prestigious state award
