Goan Reporter: Arlem Youth Beat Goa Velha 2-1 in Action-Packed Merces Tournament Kickoff

The 26th edition of the All-Goa Our Lady of Merces 8-a-side Football Tournament kicked off at Chinchinim with a nail-biting match. Arlem Youth Association defeated Goa Velha SC 2–1, thanks to goals from Archellis Fernandes and Joyson Gauncar. Goa Velha pulled one back through Sainath Kanconkar but couldn’t find the equaliser. Arlem keeper Jake Madeira’s stellar saves helped secure the win. The tournament was inaugurated by Fr. Victor Viegas amidst a large crowd
